Green Ball
$45/class

Green Ball tennis, as recognized by the United States Tennis Association (USTA), is a developmental stage in tennis specifically designed for players aged 9 to 13. It serves as a transitional level between the introductory stages of Red Ball and the full-court play of Yellow Ball.

In Green Ball tennis, players utilize a slightly softer and slower ball compared to the standard yellow tennis ball, allowing for longer rallies and increased success in stroke execution. This modified ball encourages players to develop proper technique, footwork, and strategy while maintaining a fun and engaging playing experience.

The dimensions of the court in Green Ball tennis are slightly larger than those in Red Ball, but smaller than the standard Yellow Ball court, providing an appropriate challenge for players in this age group. This gradual progression allows players to gradually adapt to the full-court dimensions while honing their skills and tactical understanding of the game.

Green Ball tennis emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game, providing young players with a solid foundation upon which to build their tennis journey. It offers a supportive and encouraging environment where players can learn, grow, and thrive as they continue to pursue their passion for tennis.

Orange Ball
$45 /class

Orange Ball tennis, as recognized by the United States Tennis Association (USTA), is an introductory stage in tennis tailored for young players aged 7 to 10. It serves as a bridge between the fundamentals of Red Ball tennis and the more advanced skills required for Green Ball and Yellow Ball play.

In Orange Ball tennis, players use a low-compression ball that is softer and slower than the standard yellow tennis ball. This modified ball allows for better control and success in stroke execution, enabling young players to develop their skills with greater ease and confidence.

The court dimensions in Orange Ball tennis are smaller than those in traditional Yellow Ball tennis, providing a suitable playing environment for young athletes. This scaled-down court size allows players to cover the court effectively while focusing on developing proper footwork, technique, and court positioning.

Orange Ball tennis emphasizes fun, skill development, and sportsmanship, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for young players. Through engaging drills, games, and activities, players are introduced to the basic strokes, rules, and strategies of tennis, laying the foundation for future success and enjoyment of the sport.

Overall, Orange Ball tennis offers young players an exciting and accessible introduction to the game, setting them on the path to a lifelong love of tennis while helping them build essential skills and confidence on the court.

It serves as the starting point for their tennis journey, introducing them to the basic skills and concepts of the sport in a fun and engaging way.

In Red Ball tennis, players use a low-pressure, foam or felt-covered ball that is larger and slower than the standard yellow tennis ball. This modified ball allows young children to develop hand-eye coordination and fundamental stroke mechanics with greater ease and success.

The court used in Red Ball tennis is smaller than a standard tennis court, typically utilizing modified lines and dimensions to create a suitable playing area for young players. This scaled-down court size ensures that children can cover the court effectively and experience success in their early tennis endeavors.

Red Ball tennis focuses on building a love for the game while developing fundamental motor skills such as running, jumping, and balance. Through engaging activities, games, and drills, young players learn the basic strokes of tennis, as well as important concepts such as scoring and sportsmanship.
